September brings building sites back to full speed. We look at how to approach the restart by focusing on equipment quality, sustainable materials and Tekcnoplast's upcoming international events.
As summer draws to a close, thousands of building sites across Italy are returning to full operation. Scaffolding comes back to life, teams return, and contracts pick up where they left off: this is a moment when the rush to make up for lost time must not come at the expense of the quality of the work carried out. On the regulatory front, the sector is also going through a significant period of updates: since 1 February 2026, the new Minimum Environmental Criteria for construction from the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security have been in force, introducing stricter requirements on the sustainability of construction materials across the entire life cycle of a project.

Against this backdrop, the quality of the equipment workers use every day remains a decisive factor. A fitting that doesn't hold, a component that wears out earlier than expected, an inefficient drainage system: all of these can slow down work and generate unexpected replacement costs.
